Ms. Masuma Afroz is the head of research for all legal proceedings and trials especially concerning international clients, civil matters and the violations of rights. She is equally skilled in legal drafting and regularly assists the litigation team in writing and reviewing the necessary documentations. She is also leading the compilation of the law report series by the firm called Libri In Re (LIR) and occasionally advises the firm in social media management. 

Ms. Masuma completed her LL.B. and LL.M. from Eastern University, Bangladesh with the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal for the undergraduate faculty of law in 2019. She also completed an Advanced Masters in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from the Geneva Academy in Switzerland as a Hans Wilsdorf Scholar in 2021.

Prior to joining at Lima & Associates, she has worked with a top corporate law firm of the country as a research associate and most recently at an international NGO in Geneva.
